How To Get To Siquijor From Cebu With Oceanjet

If you're planning to travel with Oceanjet to Siquijor from Cebu, here's a step-by-step guide:

Check the Oceanjet schedule and book your ticket online or at their ticketing office. You can visit their website at www.oceanjet.net for the schedules and fares.

But we highly recommend visiting an Oceanjet office or a travel agency office to book the tickets.

Ticket fare is at 1,600 pesos for Tourist with AC or an Open Air option which will seat you on the upper floor with the overlooking view of the ocean (which is the best choice if the weather is clear).

And 2500 pesos for Business Class

On your travel date, go to the Cebu Pier terminal 1. You can take a taxi, Grab, or jeepney to get there. The pier is located near Fort San Pedro and the Basilica del Santo Niño.

Once you arrive at the pier, proceed to the Oceanjet ticketing office to present your ticket and ID for verification. Make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow for check-in and boarding.

Basically, this trip will embark in Cebu and will make a 1-hr stopover in Tagbiliran, Bohol before it proceeds to the island of Siquijor.

Wait for your ferry to arrive and board the vessel. The trip to Siquijor takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours, depending on the sea condition.

During the ferry ride, enjoy the scenic views of the Bohol Sea and the islands in the vicinity.

Upon arrival in Siquijor, disembark from the ferry and collect your luggage. And just a head’s up, this can get a bit tricky because there is no clear guidance as to how to get the luggage.

You just simply have to wait after disembarking on the back side of the ship to collect your bags, make sure to keep an eye on them! Because they will simply unload the luggage randomly.

You can take a tricycle or a multi-cab to your destination in Siquijor which will range from around 20 pesos a person to 50 pesos per person depending on how far the drive will be. Or a bike rental for 250 to 500 pesos. If you haven't booked your accommodation yet, you can ask the locals for recommendations.

That's it! With these steps, you can travel with Oceanjet from Cebu to Siquijor and enjoy the beautiful island.
