Exclusive Watch Party for 'What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim' Welcomes KimPau Fans
One hundred devoted fans of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino received exclusive invitations to a special watch party for the highly anticipated Philippine adaptation of "What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?" held on Saturday, March 16, at Novotel Hotel in Cubao, Quezon City.
Fan clubs from various locations, including Japan and Canada, brought their enthusiasm with streamers, fan signs, and spirited support for the lead stars Kim and Paulo, who graced the event.
Additionally, cast members such as Kat Galang, Bryan Sy, Pepe Herrera, Franco Laurel, Gillian Vicencio, and Korean actor-singer Kim Won Shink attended the gathering and experienced the first two episodes of the series together with the fans.
Lucky attendees had the chance to take home polaroid photos of Kim and Paulo, complete with their autographs, and one fortunate fan even received a limited-edition plushie named "carabae" from the stars themselves.
Notably, representatives from Viu Philippines, ABS-CBN Studios, and Dreamscape Entertainment were present to lend their support.
The ballroom echoed with screams and cheers whenever Kim and Paulo appeared on screen, particularly during the suspenseful moments of the second episode.
Kim expressed her gratitude to the fans for their support and graciously posed for photos with some of them, while Paulo dedicated his performance to the late Deo Endrinal, the head and founder of Dreamscape Entertainment.
"What's Wrong with Secretary Kim" is premiered on March 18 and will be available for free viewing via the VIU app.
